Career: Slavonic studies, study of journalism and sociology; Master of Arts 1975, doctorate 1980. After graduation, ten years of teaching and research at the

Memberships: German Society for Journalism and Communication Science (DGPuK); Association for Professional Development Research (ABWF); Board of Trustees “Learning in the Information Society” (LiG);

Main vocational focus: qualification and occupational research, education and competence research, labour market research, production site analyses, media research, policy advice.

Main e-learning focus, among others: conception and scientific supervision of numerous studies for public and private customers, especially on the use and acceptance of e-learning; advising e-learning providers; establishing future trends in vocational and general further education.

Sünne Eichler, Beratung für Bildungsmanagement

Study: business administration in Munich (University of Applied Sciences).

Professional career: Member management board of leading education provider (vocational trainings), managing director of e-learning content provider; Since 2010 Founder and Managing director of own consulting company.

Main focus: E-Learning Consulting, E-Learning Content production, Blended Learning strategies, vocational trainings, e-learning-qualification.

 

Treasurer
Christoph Hieber, e/t/s Didaktische Medien GmbH

Christoph Hieber studied economic educational theory (with a focus on operational training) at the university of applied sciences in Munich, and graphic and multimedia design in Zurich. In 1995, after finishing
his education as a trainer and systemic business consultant, he was employed as elearning trainer and consultant at
SPEKTRUM GmbH in Munich. From 1999 to 2003 he took over the job as managing companion at the same
company. From 2003 to 2006 he worked as a freelancing strategic consultant with the following focuses:
personnel- and competence development, implementation of learning technologies & elearning as well as train-the-trainer instructions and trainings for consultants. Later on he was in charge of these business areas as senior consultant at FACT Consulting Unternehmensberatung GmbH in Vienna. Since January 2010 he has been working as CEO of e/t/s Didaktische Medien GmbH.

 

Secretary
Christian Stracke, eLC Institut for e-Learning, Information and Cooperation

Christian Stracke studied educational science at the University of Bonn and then worked as a project leader in e-learning and a consultant for several e-learning providers and management consultants. At the moment, he is doing his doctorate at the University of Duisburg-Essen in the field of quality standards in e-learning in Germany (Q.E.D.). He is the founder of the eLC Institute for E-Learning, Information and Co-operation, which is one of the founder members of D-ELAN. On the German Network of E-learning Protagoists (D-ELAN) e.V., he is Secretary and responsible for “International Affairs”. His main focus regarding content is on quality and standards in e-learning, ICT in international development co-operation, quality management in education and education controlling. To achieve this, he is active in national and international standardisation committees and is co-author of the two specifications PAS 1032-1 and PAS 1032-2.
“With my commitment on the D-ELAN board, I want to achieve the advancement of regional, national and international networking for the benefit all e-learning players and at the same time represent, in particular, the interests of the SMEs.”
